Carrie A. Keller

The joy I feel sharing my products with my customers is beyond measure. I put my heart and soul into every product in my Life Aromatherapy line and truly love to see people benefit from the healing properties of my essential oil blends. It has been an amazing journey to get to the place I am today and each step of the way played an important role in the development of my philosophy and my passion for what I do.

As a child, cooking with my mother and grandmother, I was intrigued by how, with "two"scoops of this and a teaspoon of that, they could create something delicious, solid in form and balanced in flavor. They taught me much in the kitchen and shared with me their love of cooking and their pleasure of sharing their creations with loved ones. Cooking was their way of showing their love to those they cared about; it was a gift. One day, while perusing their many cookbooks, I fell upon a book that explained the therapeutic properties of the herbs that were used in the recipes. I curiously spent hours looking over the many recipes, reading about the effects the herbs had on digestion, energy, the immune system, etc. At the time I had no idea that this would ultimately be the start of my adventure and passion for herbs and essential oils.

I delved into books specifically about herbs and their healing properties and began experimenting with ingesting herbs and teas. The results that I experienced from sipping peppermint tea to settle my stomach or using chamomile tea to help me sleep were significant. Through my research, I discovered aromatherapy and how the use of essential oils promoted healing in a more immediate way.

After several years of studying and experimenting with essential oils, and completing my Bachelors degree at Arizona State University, I obtained my certification as an Aromatherapist. I knew that aromatherapy was my passion, but I had no idea I would be doing it as a business until something happened one day several years ago as I was working in my kitchen mixing oils. I had been working continuously, blending away for hours and I completely lost track of time. I was having so much fun, enjoying every minute of creating. Little did I realize that I had been working for many, many hours, without interruption and I still felt like I could go on.

Recipes for the formulas that are now part of the Life line simply intuitively flooded in. It took many years of experimenting on family and friends before I was satisfied with the synergy, aroma and therapeutic value of the different products, but what I realized during that experimental phase was that these products were something I need to share with the world. I couldn't ignore the positive results that my family and friends were experiencing when using the products; it was truly remarkable.

What I was doing was more than just creating fun gifts for my family and friends, the products were helping people to heal emotionally and physically in simple and profound ways. I realized my dream; what I was creating was touching people in some way. My heart led me on this path and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my products with you.
